In the extreme Alaskan climate, emergency service professionals and first responders are challenged daily. The weather, road conditions, and remoteness of some regions increase the level of difficulty to an already-demanding job. So in order to operate effectively, the Anchorage Fire Department is relying on advanced technology to help their crews.
“The majority of these changes…is to increase the safety and efficiency of our medical crews that are operating in these ambulances,” says Anchorage Fire Department EMT Scott Paschall.
