LiquidSpring Expands Fire & Emergency Capabilities with Polaris Ranger 1500 XD Debut at FDIC 2026

Indianapolis, IN – April 2026 — LiquidSpring, a leader in smart suspension technology, will debut its latest innovation for the fire and emergency market at FDIC International 2026: a Polaris Ranger 1500 XD equipped with LiquidSpring Smart Suspension.

Built for rapid response in unpredictable terrain, this new application extends LiquidSpring’s capabilities into the utility task vehicle (UTV) category, giving departments a smarter, more capable option for reaching remote locations where traditional apparatus cannot go.

Outfitted for real-world emergency response, the Polaris Ranger 1500 XD will feature a Tomar emergency lighting package and a QTAC 85EMS-C skid unit, designed specifically for EMS and rescue operations in off-road environments. This combination delivers the tools first responders need to act quickly and effectively in remote or hard-to-access situations.

Just as important, the Ranger is equipped with the same core LiquidSpring technology emergency personnel have come to expect across ambulances, brush trucks, and specialty vehicles, including RideSync, which helps maintain a consistent ride regardless of load or terrain. The result is improved stability, better control, and a more predictable response when conditions are anything but.

Whether navigating rugged trails, soft ground, or uneven terrain, the Polaris Ranger 1500 XD with LiquidSpring delivers improved stability, control, and ride quality. For fire and rescue teams, that means safer access to off-road incidents, reduced operator fatigue, and better protection for personnel and equipment.

“Emergency response doesn’t stop where the pavement ends,” said Carl Harr, Director of Sales & Marketing at LiquidSpring. “This platform gives departments the ability to reach critical situations faster and with more control, while keeping crews safer in the process.”

LiquidSpring’s fully active suspension continuously adapts to terrain and load in real time, helping maintain control and composure in conditions that would challenge traditional suspension systems. The result is a more predictable, confidence-inspiring ride when it matters most.

In addition to the Polaris Ranger 1500 XD, LiquidSpring will also showcase a Ford F-550 outfitted by Elevation Off Grid with their Fire Authority Package, demonstrating how LiquidSpring technology supports purpose-built emergency vehicles designed for demanding environments, increased payload capability, and enhanced crew confidence on and off the road.

LiquidSpring will also be featured in the Weis Fire booth (Booth #3004) on their Quick
Attack Truck, highlighting how the same suspension technology supports rapid-response
apparatus built for fast deployment, off-road access, and real-world fireground conditions.

The Polaris Ranger 1500 XD joins LiquidSpring’s growing lineup of solutions for fire and emergency applications, including ambulances, brush trucks, and specialty response vehicles. By expanding into the UTV space, LiquidSpring continues to support departments with tools designed to perform in real-world conditions, from wildfire response and backcountry rescue to disaster recovery operations.

Attendees of FDIC 2026 can experience these vehicles in person at Booth #4784 and see how LiquidSpring is helping redefine mobility and control for emergency response teams operating beyond traditional roadways.
