How is Tru-Earth™ different from traditional RV leveling jacks?
Traditional RV leveling jacks are separate mechanical devices that extend from your RV to the ground, requiring manual operation and often leaving your RV sitting on multiple contact points. Tru-Earth™ works through your existing suspension system, using the same liquid-based struts that provide your smooth ride. This means no additional hardware extending below your RV or hydraulic jack failures stranding you at the campsite.
Can I get Tru-Earth™ without the full LiquidSpring suspension system?
Tru-Earth™ requires LiquidSpring’s Smart Suspension™ system to function. If you already have an older LiquidSpring suspension that was installed before Tru-Earth™ was available, you can upgrade your system.. However, you cannot install Tru-Earth™ as a standalone feature without having our suspension system. You will need to check with LiquidSpring customer service to make sure Tru-Earth is available for your vehicle.
What vehicles are compatible with Tru-Earth™?
Tru-Earth™ is available on:
- RVs equipped with LiquidSpring suspension systems
- Adventure trucks equipped with LiquidSpring suspension systems
How do I use Tru-Earth™?
Using Tru-Earth™ is simple. Once you’ve parked your RV, use the driver interface controls to activate the leveling function. The system will automatically adjust each corner of your vehicle until you’re perfectly level. The entire process takes just minutes and requires no manual setup or physical jacks.
Does Tru-Earth™ work on steep or severely uneven surfaces?
Tru-Earth™ can handle most typical camping situations where your RV can be safely parked. The system works within the travel range of your LiquidSpring suspension to achieve leveling. For extreme situations where the ground variance exceeds the suspension’s adjustment range, you may still need to use wheel blocks or choose a more level parking spot.
Will using Tru-Earth™ affect my RV’s stability while parked?
No. When Tru-Earth™ levels your RV, the system maintains its active monitoring and adjustment capabilities. Your RV remains stable and secure on its own tires and suspension system, just as it would when properly parked on level ground.
Is Tru-Earth™ automatic, or do I control it?
Tru-Earth™ is a manual, push-button function that you control through your LiquidSpring driver interface. This gives you complete control over when and how to level your RV. The system does not automatically level when you park – it only activates when you choose to use it.
Can I drive with Tru-Earth™ engaged?
No. Tru-Earth™ is designed for stationary use only when your RV is parked. Before driving, you’ll need to disengage the leveling function through your driver interface, allowing the suspension to return to its normal driving configuration.
What’s the difference between Tru-Earth™ and load-leveling?
These are two different functions of your LiquidSpring system:
- Load-leveling is the continuous, automatic function that maintains normal ride height when weight is added to your vehicle while driving
- Tru-Earth™ is the manual, push-button function specifically for leveling your parked RV or Truck on uneven camping surfaces
Can I upgrade my existing LiquidSpring system to include Tru-Earth™?
Yes. If you have an older LiquidSpring suspension system that was installed before Tru-Earth™ was available, you can upgrade to add this functionality. The upgrade involves installing some additional hardware and a software update.
